"Johnny Hodges" is my tribute to one of my earliest and most profound influences. Bob Dorough has a great version on Philology label. I recorded it on RCA on "The New Phil Woods Album" but you will only find that on Ebay. RCA/BMG have never reissued any of my stuff on CD. (There are exceptions but they are all truncated in some way, and never in a musical way.) RCA has perfect ears- NO HOLES!!
